We are searching for a visionary and strategic Director of Revenue Cycle Project Management to lead our team in driving transformative initiatives within the revenue cycle domain. Job Summary

The Director of Revenue Cycle Project Management will be a cornerstone of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing and leading projects that optimize revenue cycle processes. This role demands expertise in strategic planning, change management, and healthcare leadership, fostering innovation and excellence across our operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their skills to ensure seamless practice management transitions and drive revenue cycle performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans for revenue cycle projects, ensuring alignment with McKesson's goals. Lead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and optimize revenue cycle processes.
  • Project Oversight: Guide and manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on workflow optimization, practice management transitions, and revenue cycle enhancements. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with Specialty Executive Leaders and Subject Matter Experts to drive revenue cycle initiatives. Facilitate effective communication across teams to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Audit and Analysis: Oversee comprehensive audits and analyses to improve revenue cycle performance. Identify root causes of denial trends and implement actionable strategies to address them.
  • Educational Leadership: Lead the development of educational resources, including Revenue Cycle Newsletters and Specialty Playbooks. Ensure that resources effectively support practice transitions and operational optimization.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Establish and lead a formalized production monitoring program. Conduct dashboard reviews and ensure timely support engagement to maintain consistency and standardization.
  • Process Improvement: Champion workflow transformation efforts during practice management transitions. Advocate for best practices and industry standards to ensure continual improvement.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience.

Critical Skills

  • Proven leadership experience in project management within the healthcare or revenue cycle domain.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leaders.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Expertise in data analysis, with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with practice management systems and revenue cycle processes.

Additional Skills

  • Experience with healthcare billing systems and revenue cycle operations.
  • Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in educational resource development and audit implementation is preferred.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$104,000 - $173,300
