Job Description: Our client is an industry leader in the security and low voltage industry looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join their team on a 6-month W2 contract. The ideal candidate will have some experience with security cameras and running wire/cable. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain valuable experience and grow their skills in the security industry.
Responsibilities: * Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage security systems, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems. * Run and terminate wire/cable for security systems. * Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics on security equipment. * Ensure all installations are completed to company standards and comply with local codes and regulations. * Provide excellent customer service and support to clients. * Maintain accurate records of installations and service calls. Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Basic knowledge of security cameras and low voltage systems. * Experience running and terminating wire/cable. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications: * Previous experience in a similar role. * Basic understanding of networking and IP-based systems. * Relevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, NICET). *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
