GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general supervision, transport HFH employees and guests to various parts of the Henry Ford Hospital System facilities and parking lots. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred. Must possess Commercial Drivers License with P endorsement in good standing 3 or fewer points. All bus drivers are required to have in their possession a valid DOT Medical Card. Successful completion of the U.S. and Michigan Department of Transportation Background Screening & Hiring Processes. Manual dexterity and eye hand foot coordination are necessary to drive a bus. Must have near and far visual acuity and depth and spatial perception when driving vehicles. Adapt to perform repetitive, short-cycle activities according to set procedures when performing this function. Must demonstrate and always use customer friendly demeanor and etiquette.
