Corporate Title: Vice President - Director

Location: New York, NY

Overview

As a Portfolio Manager within our Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) investment management function, you will be at the heart of our Wealth Management franchise in the Americas. You will leverage your expertise in multi-asset global portfolio management to provide tailored investment solutions to our DPM eligible clientele and prospects. Your role will involve collaborating closely with portfolio managers, investment strategists, private bankers, and trust officers to ensure seamless maintenance and information provision for underlying products and performance. Your contributions will be instrumental in strengthening our investment offerings and client satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure adherence to clients' investment needs, objectives, and constraints, providing customized investment offerings where necessary
  • Uphold the fiduciary concept without exception
  • Meet clients' after-sales needs, including communications, performance reporting, and handling ad hoc requests
  • Engage actively in investment discussions and stay informed about investment committee/CIO office views and asset allocations
  • Keep abreast of developments in the financial industry, including new concepts, theories, and quantitative models
  • Comply with Deutsche Bank's regulatory framework, including US federal & state tax laws, ERISA rules, and trust laws
  • Establish and maintain a long-term performance record for managed products and accounts
  • Introduce new investment ideas to clients, especially in non-traditional asset classes, and position these solutions within client portfolios

Skills You'll Need

  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA and/or CFA preferred
  • Proven experience as a multi-asset portfolio manager with a strong performance track record
  • Comprehensive investment knowledge across public and private markets
  • Strong client relationship management skills, especially with ultra-high net worth individuals and families
  • Working knowledge of the unique requirements around US trust investing is beneficial

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $145,000 to $185,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
