OverviewThe Corporates Services Finance team provides key insights that help corporate business partners at Microsoft make better financial and business decisions. The Operations Finance team supports the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the company and the COO team's drive for Continuous Improvement and AI (artificial intelligence) productivity gains while delighting customers. We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager, Operations, to partner with Finance and Operations teams and leaders to support the orchestration and consolidation of regular reporting. You would also lead the close, forecast, FTE (full time employee) headcount reporting, HC (headcount) pipeline / PCN (position control number) management, and annual planning requirements, as well as support a living LRP (long-range plan) consistently managed across teams. Additionally, you will have a role in partnering across the organization with Procurement on vendor optimization efforts, ensuring we properly assess these opportunities across the COO and broader teams. ResponsibilitiesLead consolidation point for the Operations Finance team (reporting, process, storytelling, etc.)Manage ongoing reporting needs around the close, forecast, and annual reporting ROBs (Rhythm of Business), which includes netting out key themes and stories and articulating them in multiple formats (including presentation).Help build and maintain a living LRP for the Operations Finance teams.Support ad-hoc reporting requirements around COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) allocations, resource allocation reviews, normalization of spend and headcount.Build and maintain relationships with key partners across the Finance organization, who do similar work to ensure synergies in approach to managing restatements, target transfers, etc.Engage with the Procurement team and help drive vendor optimization story and opportunities across the Operations organization footprint.Embody our Culture and Values |
