Title Nurse Practitioner for Cardiac Electrophysiology practice

Summary:

We are seeking a nurse practitioner to join our growing Arrhythmia Center -NJEP, at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in cardiology with either a background in electrophysiology or a desire to learn this subspecialty.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assessing and managing arrhythmia patients, pre-admission testing for cardiac EP procedures, cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) interrogations, remote monitoring for CIEDs, and general support to Physicians and Medical Assistants, all while under the supervision of attending Cardiac Electrophysiologists, both in an outpatient and inpatient setting.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner.
• Must hold a current New Jersey NP or PA license
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Cardiology experience desired; Electrophysiology experience preferred
