Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer. This role is with a construction company in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. This is an onsite, direct hire position. Responsibilities: Lead and coach others in the design, deployment, and management of Microsoft-based systems, including Windows Server, Azure, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 Implement and maintain system security measures, including patch management, antivirus, and firewall configurations Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation Develop documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures Collaborate with team members to integrate Microsoft solutions with other systems and applications Provide tech support and training to end users on Microsoft systems and applications Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft technologies and best practices Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation Implement network security measures, including VPNs, ACLs, and firewall configurations Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures Requirements: Associate's degree or some college in Computer Science, Info Tech, or a related field 7+ years of experience in managing Microsoft-based systems, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security principles, and system admin Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware) Familiarity with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, or similar Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
