What You Will Do:

As a Temporary Accounting Assistant, you will play an essential role within our Accounting department, reporting to the Accounting Supervisor. The Temporary Accounting Clerk is responsible for processing expense reports and performing clerical and administrative duties in an office setting. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Receive P-cards receipts, review the accuracy of coding and process expenses in ESS (Employees Self Service) system in accordance with the established Policies and Procedures.
  • Follow up with employees on submission of the expense reports.
  • Maintain historical records by scanning and electronically filing documentation; verify data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Handle the Department's mail.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Restocking office supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What You Will Bring:

Required Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic accounting knowledge/experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate Excel skills.
  • Ability to pass a drug, background, credit, past employment, and driving record screening.


Preferred skills and qualifications:



  • Ability to work with high levels of accuracy and attention to details.
  • Ability to interact courteously and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
  • Proven organizational, proofreading, and time management skills.
