Job Title: Tooling Engineer Location with zip code: Palmdale, CA Pay Rate: $45-$50/hr. on W2 basis Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night: 1st shift Duration: 6+ months Role & Responsibilities: The Tool Engineer shall work with internal/external customers, and colleagues to ensure that the tool meets the customer needs and see it through each phase of the engineering process (Design, Fabrication, and Implementation). Direct Aerospace Tooling experience. Execution/Lead/Coordination of design and fabrication requirements for tools and fixtures with customers, both internal and external. Experience shall be in in medium to large scale tooling fabrication and assembly, and/or production fabrication including composites, metallic, coatings application, and/or production manufacturing operations. Direct experience working in with 3D CAD e.g. CATIA, NX, CREO etc. Basic Qualifications: Experience shall be in in medium to large scale tooling fabrication and/or production fabrication including composites, metallic, coatings application, and/or production manufacturing operations. Preferred Qualifications: STEM Degree (Science, Technical, Engineering or Mathematical) Composite experience and process knowledge Direct Tool design experience of medium to large scale tooling Direct Aerospace Tooling experience
