Job Title: Test Technician / Assembler

Location: 4 Marconi Irvine, CA, 92618

Shift: 1st

Duration: 6 Months+

Pay Rate: $24/hr. on w2 without benefits

Must have Skills:

  • Must Have: experience working with 100X magnification micro-electronic parts.
  • Vibration Testing - set up vibration plates
  • The Test Technician, completes work according to instructions, specifications and procedures. Conducts a variety of tests and verifications on electro and electromechanical equipment, while providing accuracy, productivity and on-time delivery.


Job Designation:

  • Performs a range of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical testing of small parts or components in accordance with company instructions and procedures.
  • Reviews shop traveler route card, or schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operation.
  • Perform a variety of test to verify circuitry and to test effectiveness of components in amplifiers and electronic equipment.
  • Receive parts or units from customers and troubleshoots circuits and components using schematic drawings and prints as a verifying check.
  • Perform test and diagnostics using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVM, signal generators, power meters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, frequency counters and other related test equipment.
  • Sets up test equipment and tests per specification.
  • Performs troubleshooting and failure analysis of analog and digital circuitry malfunctions to the micro component level.
  • Provides detailed written failure description with root cause analysis to production and engineering.
  • Follows written and verbal instructions, adheres to all company guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment, an acceptable safety record and follows company safety rules.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.


Role & Responsibilities:

Required Education:

  • Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
  • Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field.
  • Years Experience: 2 years or more of relevant experience.


Required Experience:

  • Strong electrical background with understanding of microelectronics.
  • Strong knowledge in testing, debugging and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies
  • Good reading and comprehension skills to understand regulations and instructions.
  • Ability to analyze and determine methods and procedures.
  • Good oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient Microsoft Windows software applications.
