Duration: 6 Months+
Pay Rate: $24/hr. on w2 without benefits
Must have Skills:
- Must Have: experience working with 100X magnification micro-electronic parts.
- Vibration Testing - set up vibration plates
- The Test Technician, completes work according to instructions, specifications and procedures. Conducts a variety of tests and verifications on electro and electromechanical equipment, while providing accuracy, productivity and on-time delivery.
Job Designation:
- Performs a range of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical testing of small parts or components in accordance with company instructions and procedures.
- Reviews shop traveler route card, or schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operation.
- Perform a variety of test to verify circuitry and to test effectiveness of components in amplifiers and electronic equipment.
- Receive parts or units from customers and troubleshoots circuits and components using schematic drawings and prints as a verifying check.
- Perform test and diagnostics using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVM, signal generators, power meters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, frequency counters and other related test equipment.
- Sets up test equipment and tests per specification.
- Performs troubleshooting and failure analysis of analog and digital circuitry malfunctions to the micro component level.
- Provides detailed written failure description with root cause analysis to production and engineering.
- Follows written and verbal instructions, adheres to all company guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment, an acceptable safety record and follows company safety rules.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.

Required Education:
- Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
- Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field.
- Years Experience: 2 years or more of relevant experience.
Required Experience:
- Strong electrical background with understanding of microelectronics.
- Strong knowledge in testing, debugging and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies
- Good reading and comprehension skills to understand regulations and instructions.
- Ability to analyze and determine methods and procedures.
- Good oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient Microsoft Windows software applications.
