BIM Coordinator

The opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy's Grid & Power Quality Solutions (GPQS) team in Raleigh, NC, as a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Coordinator! You'll be the go-to expert for BIM workflows, ensuring seamless integration and coordination across disciplines. How you'll make an impact

• Implement and support digitalization initiatives within the engineering team.

• Drive continuous improvement by introducing innovative, cost-saving ideas.

• Develop and implement global and local engineering processes.

• Coordinate BIM execution plans and ensure adherence during project execution.

• Administer and maintain business-managed software and engineering tools.

• Provide training and support for team members on processes and tools.

• Lead BIM coordination meetings and manage project data sets.

• Mentor project teams in using BIM authoring tools effectively.

Your background

• Associate Degree in Engineering Drafting/CAD with at least 3 years of experience.

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

• Strong experience in BIM coordination and methodologies.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
