Electrical Engineer

Performs an assortment of complex engineering duties. Duty requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

Design and fabricate prototype circuit boards for pulse power systems
• Create documentation for existing prototypes and follow on production boards
• Identify capability gaps in current EE infrastructure both in the WMA and at a remote CONUS customer site and propose solutions to address those gaps
• Create multiple electrical engineering solutions to pulse power problems to address system risk issues
• Maintain lab spaces to ensure ability to maintain operations
• Utilize digital and analog solutions to address complex electrical engineering challenges
• Assist with systems integration efforts incorporating pulse power systems into a larger system

Required:

• BA/BS and 8+ years of experience; Masters and 6+ years of experience; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required
• 3+ years of experience as a electrical engineer or similar role with sponsor
• Demonstrated experience supporting the sponsor organization
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Demonstrated experience in developing technical requirements and conducting technical reviews of documentation
• Comprehensive experience working in the IC
• Proactive self-starter able to support multiple efforts simultaneously
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio
• Strong understanding of Sponsor systems and capabilities
