At UCB, we're looking for a passionate Strategic Partnering Infrastructure Specialist (SPIS) to help drive the success of our Clinical Strategic Partnerships (CLIN SP). This position is based in our Raleigh, NC headquarters.

About the role:
In this role, you'll be at the heart of groundbreaking collaborations, building frameworks, streamlining operations, and creating agile solutions that power world-class clinical development. You'll work alongside dynamic teams, industry leaders, and strategic partners - all while fueling innovation, improving processes, and impacting patient outcomes.

What You'll Do:
* Keep Us Moving Forward: Manage and evolve the CLIN SP process map landscape, ensuring specifications, templates, tools, and guidance documents are always up-to-date and fit for purpose.
* Stay Ahead: Regularly update and maintain the CLIN SP collaboration site, making sure stakeholders have easy access to accurate, current information.
* Communicate with Impact: Create, manage, and distribute key reports and communications that keep our teams informed and aligned.
* Guard Our Quality: Perform quality spot checks on CRO study status reports, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of the data we depend on.
* Shape the Future: Represent Strategic Partnering when evaluating the impact of new regulations (EU CTR, MDR, EU Data Protection) on our processes.
* Expand Access: Build and manage frameworks and vendor relationships to support managed access programs and post-trial access initiatives.
* Lead the Charge: Support project management for operational and commercial steering committees, keeping initiatives on track and on target.
* Train for Excellence: Build and maintain partner training programs - and keep us compliant by monitoring training effectiveness.
* Be Inspection-Ready: Support submission and inspection readiness activities, helping to ensure we're always prepared.
* Lead with Integrity: Help develop and lead Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) plans following audits and inspections.
* Be Global: Embrace opportunities to travel - sometimes internationally - to support our partnerships.

* Strategic Partnering Infrastructure Lead (SPIL)
* Strategic Partnering Leads
* Clinical Development teams
* UCB Digital Technology experts
* Strategic Partners and CROs
* Cross-functional subject matter experts worldwide

Interested? Here's What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in science, finance, legal, or business.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Clinical Operations or project management, with increasing levels of responsibility and success in CRO relationship management.
* Minimum of 2 years experience in clinical development, including:
Preferred Qualifications:
* Advanced degree (MS, PhD, etc.).

Knowledge of FDA/EMEA regulations and guidance.
o Familiarity with ICH/GCP standards and regulatory environments.
o Hands-on experience setting up and running clinical trials.
o Experience working within a strategic CRO relationship.
* Big-picture thinker with a sharp eye for detail - able to toggle seamlessly between strategic and tactical thinking.
* Skilled at building trust and leading virtual, cross-functional teams across geographies.
* Innovator at heart - always seeking better, faster, smarter ways to work.
* Stellar communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation.
* Active listener, strong collaborator, and trusted partner.
* Fluent in English (multilingual capabilities are a plus).
* Willingness and flexibility to travel as needed.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, self-motivated mindset.

This position offers a reasonably anticipated base salary range of $ $104,800-$137,600 a year.
Actual compensation will depend on factors such as applicant's experience, knowledge, and skills.
