The Opportunity

As a Service Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind our customer support and project management efforts. You will work closely with our Global Execution Centers, manage remote work crews, and ensure that our commitments to customers are met. How You'll Make an Impact

  • Be the single point of contact for customers, addressing their needs and driving issues to completion.

  • Collaborate with internal and external suppliers and team members to resolve customer-related issues.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to Hitachi Energy processes.

  • Set customer expectations to ensure smooth project delivery and timely payment.

  • Utilize Full Cost Calculation/Model to develop new opportunities while controlling current project costs and cash flows.

  • Engage with customers, suppliers, and internal finance to ensure timely and correct payments.

  • Participate in the negotiation of project-specific terms and conditions with legal counsel.

  • Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years in Project Management, Field Service, Project Engineering, or Customer Support.

  • Proven accomplishments in critical thinking and issue resolution.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration.

  • Knowledge of Project Management skills such as critical path and risk identification and mitigation.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver quality results.

  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to closing issues and leading teams.

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
