We are looking for a qualified director of Global Public Relations to join SEI's Global Communications team. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of a focused global PR strategy to build and maintain a positive public perception and further strengthen the company's brand awareness and engagement. In this role, you will manage our global PR agency of record and report to the Head of Corporate Communications.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and execute a corporate PR strategy that supports company goals and objectives, ensuring alignment across messaging and positioning to promote and protect our brand
  • Provide strategic oversight of all media relations activities for SEI's business globally, including coordination in partnership with our PR agency of record, handling corporate inbound media inquiries, and interview prep. and
  • Work closely with executive leadership, marketing leadership, and media spokespeople to inform PR strategy and execution
  • Partner across channels, including marketing, social media, internal communications, and community relations, as well as with teams across the organization, to develop communications strategies and materials with an eye toward creativity, objectivity, and news creation and amplification
  • Manage the development, review, and approval of PR materials, including press releases and bylines, as well as updates to quarterly materials
  • Drive measurement plan that incorporates quantitative and qualitative media analysis and data to provide actionable recommendations and drive positive media sentiment and company reputation
  • Conduct media training for approved company spokespeople
  • Liaise with Legal and Compliance teams globally to ensure regulatory requirements are met
  • Partner with head of Global Communications in crisis media management
  • PR budget oversight

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or relevant field
  • A minimum of 12 years of strategic communications experience in Public Relations, which may include roles in PR agencies, in-house corporate communications functions, or as a journalist
  • Steller written and verbal communications skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Global experience driving performance across businesses and borders
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships that foster communication and collaboration
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • Periodic travel may be required
