Electrical Engineer Intern

Position:

The Refrigeration and Controls group at Johnson Controls is looking for an intern to join their team. This opening is at the Johnson Controls, Inc. Warren Johnson Engineering Lab in Glendale, Wisconsin.

What will you do:

This internshipis designed to provide you with positivework/training experience and challenging objectives. Join the electrical engineering team and work as a team member under the directionof experienced engineers. Support PCBA design, manufacturing, and testing. Develop electronic controls to drive innovation and market growth.

How you will do it:

The successful candidate will provide engineering assistance to support the design and procurement of PCBA's. Work may include engineering analysis, design for manufacturing, quality control processes, and engineering documentation.

In addition to supporting local needs, interns participate in activities across the broader Johnson Controls network for skills training and compete in presentation events.

Duration: This will be a full-time undergraduate summer 2025internship. Candidates may have the opportunity to work part-time during the semester as well. Prior interns are encouraged to apply to full-time positions as their graduation date approaches, and senior interns may receive post-graduation, full-time employment offer letters following exemplary summer internship.

RequiredQualifications:

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
• Pursuing a B.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering
• Currently aSophomore/Juniorstatus
• Good Academic Standing
• U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

• Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently.
• Strong communicationskills (verbal and written) preferred
