The Signature Events Coordinator is responsible for managing registration and attendance tracking for Advancement events which support the alumni engagement, development, and campaign goals established by the university. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Work directly with the Director of Signature Events to evaluate the effectiveness of registration processes in supporting the overall goals of each event.
  • Manage the preparation of event materials (such as name tags and event supplies), process payments, and assist the event lead in reconciling income and coordinating other elements of the event.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for all event inquiries from alumni and donors.


Work Interactions

The Signature Events Coordinator serves as a member of the Office of Advancement Signature Events team, reporting to the Director of Signature Events. This position interacts with Advancement and university colleagues to support the planning and execution of a variety of events. In managing the registration process for events, the Signature Events Coordinator oversees Advancement event volunteers and serves as the first point of contact for many alumni and donors. These interactions are an important component of building and maintaining positive constituent relationships and the overall success of the event experience.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least one year of event support and registration experience
  • Possesses exceptional organizational and time management skills as well as superb attention to detail
  • Ability to concurrently balance multiple, high priorities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Mission-driven mindset

Pay Range:

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$20.16 - $31.30

Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
