Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least three (3) years of experience working in inventory control, shipping and/or receiving, administrative and manufacturing operations.
  • United States citizenship required.
  • Ability to receive client's approval to work on contract required.
  • Must live in the US 3 of the last 5 years (military and study abroad included).
  • Must have a good understanding of cellular services and inventory control methodologies.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external contacts at all levels.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong working knowledge of Syteline ERP System, Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong record keeping and inventory skills.
  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

Working Conditions: Encountered on a regular basis as part of the work this job performs.

  • Ability to sit for long periods in order to perform data entry.
  • Ability to use hands in order to perform data entry.

Responsibilities

Summary
The Product Service and Cellular Coordinator coordinates and ensures all product service matters related to customer units returned for service and repair within required deadlines. Performs administration activities related to administrative activities for manufacturing requirements. Coordinates all activities related to customer owned repair of assigned product line.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Product Service and Cellular Coordinator coordinates, schedules, and prioritizes repair activities for customer owned units for repair service utilizing FIFO methodology on product lines. Ensures completion within expected guidelines, contractual requirements or receives regular updates.
  • Coordinates the activation/deactivation of Cellular devices for Manufacturing and Service requirements.
  • Updates service repair orders (SROs) in ERP systems database for all billable repairs and services. Coordinates with manufacturing and order entry team (CBS) to ensure the correct parts and charges are used. Coordinates any possible inventory issues between Material Control and Purchasing department.
  • The Product Service and Cellular Coordinator investigates all receiving and/or shipping issues with regard to products returned service and responds to customer issues on related returned equipment.
  • Assists Material Control department by evaluating inventory levels both in Raw materials and WIP. Conducts root cause analysis to determine variances between audits, cycle counts and MRP system records.
  • Collaborates with Manufacturing department to ensure direct units are returned to the customer within ten (10) days.
  • Maintains reporting data to monitor and track efficiencies within the direct unit process.
  • The Product Service and Cellular Coordinator keeps up with cycle counts variances to ensure Material Control and Purchasing are reacting accordingly.
  • Reviews and recommends solutions to streamline processes and communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Researches and provides solutions to ambiguous issues reported by customers to ensure manufacturing are fully aware of the repairs required.
  • Liaises with customers to resolve any issues regarding warranty or billable repairs. Preforms inventory transaction analysis against current and historical demand to aid in reduced inventory shortages.
  • Leads and participates in Lean, Six-Sigma, and all other improvement projects, as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
