The UHS Corporate Marketing and Communications Department is hiring an Media Assistant to assist the Media Team in their day-to-day operation with a variety of assignments in our fast-paced and innovative environment. This exciting opportunity that provides a solid introduction to media-buying as well as the larger operations of an in-house creative agency.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Trafficking ad creative to publications and stations.
  • Update project tracking system with media information and due dates.
  • Processing insertion orders received from the media buyer.
  • Coordinate meetings for Coordinators, facilities and media buyer.
  • Project management of media directed projects, auditing and submitting invoices to accounting for payment.
  • Maintaining tracking spreadsheets.
  • Preparing and distributing reports.

Qualifications

Associates degree required with 1 year or more of experience required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.

  • Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

  • Knowledge of marketing and media planning terminology and processes.

  • Detail oriented, accurate and able to work independently.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and multi-task continuously.
