What you will do:

Johnson Controls, JCI is seeking a dedicated and efficient Field Sales Office warehouse and technical lab dedicated resource. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in receiving, packing, kitting, and managing a field warehouse operation. In addition, the candidate will support technical lab lead with solution kitting, configuration, setup, and testing execution. This role is essential for ensuring our client team executes on special project support and technical testing.

How you will do it:

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Package materials for approved client projects, ensuring that all items are securely packed and ready for transport.
  • Kit items according to specific job requirements and ensure that all necessary materials are included.
  • Kit technology solution sets, to include Electronic Article Surveillance, RfiD, and Video solution sets. Support to include physical assembly, networking, and firmware configurations, all designed and supported by lab technical leader.
  • Manage inventory levels within the field warehouse, conducting regular counts and maintaining accurate records, leveraging Sensormatic's RfiD solution set.
  • Coordinate logistics for material distribution to various field locations.
  • Attention to detail on inbound and outbound manifests to ensure all shipments are accurate and complete.
  • Work with third-party freight providers for both parcel and LTL shipments to optimize logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and lab operations as set by lab leader
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while handling materials.

What we look for:

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or materials handling.
  • Basic technical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in using warehouse standard Microsoft tool sets

Communication skills

  • Team player, ability to work within a cross functional team.
  • Ability to document and communicate detailed packing configurations and testing environments.
