Summary:
Responsible for planning, routing, and confirming service appointments to repair and service office equipment. Addresses equipment complaints, conducts diagnostic tests, and researches engineering and service manuals. Cleans parts and components, repairs disabled parts, and replaces parts. Essential Functions: Sets up and operates audiovisual equipment (flat-screens, podiums, microphones, etc.) throughout the hospital. -Operates equipment in booths to videotapes events, provides overflow for various meetings, provides computer overhead projection, slide and video projection and audio equipment. -Assists professional community with their presentations, helping set up and organize for rounds/meetings. -Maintains all equipment and provides Manager with inventory needs, such as bulbs for projectors as well as maintaining all systems, microphones etc. in booths as well as other locations where AV equipment is used. -Provides basic video-taping and editing using Adobe Creative Suite for rounds, meetings, presentations and uploading them to our server using HTML5 coding. -Provides back-up webcasting services within the hospital -Support and record hybrid meetings using Zoom, Teams and any other video conferencing software. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes Licenses and Credentials Experience Basic audio visual experience preferred and Customer service work experience 2-3 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Basic AV knowledge and computer skills. - Ability to troubleshoot problems during presentations. - Experience in software, including MS Office Products/Adobe software. - Ability to perform video-editing after videotaping to complete and post to Shared Drives and/or convert to digital formats, links. - Must be able to prioritize workload. - Must present in a very professional manner, including behavior, communication and appearance.
