Overview

Responsible for operating a multi-line phone system answering inbound phone calls. Routes callers to correct department or individual. Candidate will check in all visitors following OneBlood guidelines while also greeting all staff and donors coming into the center. Upon arrival candidate will log into live chat and assist donors with questions throughout the day.

Hours for this position is:

Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday - 7:00 - 3:30

Tuesday - 8:00 - 4:30

Wednesday - Off

    Appropriately greets/acknowledges all visitors in a professional manner determining nature of business while providing all guests with guest sticker
  • Receives incoming telephone calls determining purpose of call and transfers as needed
  • Assist a large number of donors with inquiries using live chat software
  • Arrive on time each day.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalent.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:

None

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS:

  • Ability to organize work for timely completion
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English
  • Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
