The opportunity

Job Summary:

Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking two Student Workers for our campus location to assist SETA's electrical and robotics engineering labs. They will primarily work with the Engineering Lab Facilitator inventorying the electrical lab's components. Students might be assigned to assist with assembly tasks for robotics related lab projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organize, maintain and inventory electrical related components.
  • Assist in assembling robotics projects.
  • Front-end, back-end website knowledge.
  • Accessing, and editing databases.
  • Other engineering duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in an Undergraduate Day program at SNHU.
  • Must be in good academic standing.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Work-Study may be preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated learner.
  • Basic electrical and/or robotic skills.
  • Basic computer science skills.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Obtain lab management skills.
  • Improve hands-on electrical and robotics skills.
  • Improve inventory platform management skills.
  • Gain the soft skills needed to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across engineering departments.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
