- The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will lead a team of manufacturing engineers and a machine maintenance team to establish and optimize production capabilities at a new greenfield Product Company (manufacturing site).
- This role is critical in overseeing the successful transfer of high-precision machining, assembly operations, and machine maintenance processes from an existing product company, while driving production ramp-up over the next 12 months.
- The purpose of this position is to ensure the seamless integration of equipment, processes, and personnel, delivering operational excellence, efficiency, and quality in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 14 manufacturing engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of equipment and process transfers from an existing company site to the greenfield facility.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, supply chain) to ensure a smooth production capacity ramp-up over the next 12 months.
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies for high-precision machining and assembly operations to meet production targets, quality standards, and timelines.
- Establish and manage a machine maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability, uptime, and longevity in a high-precision environment (Maintenance Team Lead and 6 technicians).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing lean manufacturing principles and advanced engineering techniques to optimize processes.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, equipment efficiency, and defect rates.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the site's operations.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in equipment maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive maintenance) and reliability engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization methodologies.
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role overseeing engineering teams.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Master's Degree.
- Master of Business Administration.
- Green or Black Belt certification.
- Proven expertise in high-precision machining (CNC, milling, turning) and assembly operations.
- Experience with greenfield site startups or large-scale process/equipment transfers.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities, with experience managing technical teams of 10+ individuals.
- Good problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
