POSITION SUMMARY:

Watts Water Technologies is seeking a Sr. FP&A analyst to join the I-CON Systems Finance team. You will play an integral part in the I-CON Systems internal financial reporting processes. You will also have direct exposure to the company's financial leadership and other business leaders throughout the organization. You will be a key member of the finance team expected to leverage the financial data to drive consistency and transparency, accountability, and performance within the operating businesses.

You Will:

  • Drive coordination and completion of various financial processes toward timely completion of deliverables, such as:
    • Monthly / Quarterly Financial Close process support (Flash reporting, Results Analysis, etc.)
    • Preparation of Monthly / Quarterly Management Reporting Package
    • 'To-Go' Analytics on a weekly basis to senior leadership team
    • Various support processes
    • AOP / STRAP input (i.e., Investment, Capital Projects, NPD, etc.)
  • Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting / analysis of performance versus various markers (i.e., historical, budgeted, forecasted) to facilitate strategic, decision-making processes including communicating the results to management.
  • Work with the Installation team to report and manage installation project costs.
  • Lead functional budgeting / forecasting processes through analytical assessments, such as:
    • Expense tracking to Plan / Forecast
    • Identifying potential risks and opportunities
    • Offer mitigation steps and / or tactics to deliver on performance commitments
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with functional leaders, operational teams, platform finance as well as corporate teams to achieve common objectives.
  • Perform complex levels of ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities within existing processes to foster efficiency, collaboration and alignment on key performance drivers.

You Have:

  • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst role or similar.
  • Expert understanding of financial frameworks and concepts with the ability to design/conduct complex financial analysis.
  • Advanced understanding of how financial decisions impact overall business performance with the ability to influence decision-making
  • Expert Excel skills including: power query, XLOOKUP, sumifs, pivot tables, ability to effectively manipulate and organize large amounts of data
  • Self-motivated, problem solver, strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Superior organization skills, ability to multi-task and rearrange priorities as needed, monitor workflow in meeting critical deadlines and project timetables
  • Requires strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with all levels and functions in the organization including senior leadership.
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability to lead small project teams with a process improvement mindset.
  • Experience with HFM financial reporting and D365 (or similar enterprise accounting systems) a plus
  • Experience with large, multi-national, public corporations preferred
  • Travel 10%

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job responsibilities outside the typical office setting.
