Description Our Garden Segment is searching for a Receiving Supervisor to work in our Lebanon, OR Pennington Seed plant. This position will report to the Plant Manager and is responsible for managing the receipt, coordination, and supply of raw materials. This position will work closely with the procurement team to ensure seed availability and with the production planning team to determine the priorities of incoming raw materials. This individual must have the ability to serve a variety of customers, including internal and external customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate with Grower Contracts Coordinator and Production Planner to haul raw materials for manufacturing needs. Provide direction to receiving crew regarding warehousing and storage of incoming raw materials, packaging, and supplies. Direct movement of raw materials, packaging, and supplies with seed cleaners, storage facilities, and third-party vendors and co-packers. Clearly communicate the movement of seed with all key partners, internal and external Orchestrate movement of material for other departments as needed. Manage inventory and place orders for cardboard, pallets, chemicals, and non-retail type bags. Advise S&OP Director of the retail packaging inventory levels Maintain compliance with all legal forms including overweight permits, etc. Supervise the receiving crew and truck drivers.
