CNC (Mill) Machinist

Staffmark is seeking a skilled CNC (MILL) Machinist to set up, program, and operate various CNC and manual machine tools, including horizontal boring, milling, and grinding machines in Walnut Ridge, AR. Keep reading to learn more on how to apply today!

Pay Based on Experience

Schedule: : Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

This role requires producing parts and repairs from blueprints, sketches, or samples with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, program (G-code), and operate CNC mills and manual machines
• Manufacture or repair parts from drawings, sketches, or samples
• Select appropriate tooling, feeds, speeds, and cutting depths
• Utilize proper work-holding devices and fixtures for part accuracy
• Inspect parts to ensure adherence to dimensional and quality specifications
• Estimate time and materials required for machine jobs
• Perform daily cleaning, inspections, and preventative maintenance

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED
• CNC programming training or certification
• At least 1 year of experience setting up and operating CNC machines
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and editing G-code
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and use SolidWorks
• Strong math and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for full shifts
