The College of Nursing is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist Principal Investigator Dr. Randi Bates with her research study. The successful candidate will manage and coordinate day-to-day project logistics on a multi-site five-year project focused on young children's sleep. The incumbent will manage and conduct all activities under the supervision of the PI and in accordance with all IRB and human subjects research standards across multiple institutions. This role will be based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Significant regional field work consisting primarily of regular site visits to organizations serving children, home visits to study participants, and management of research and laboratory materials at the University of Cincinnati will be required. This position is full-time,100% FTE and is fully grant funded. This position is expected to end on June 30, 2029. The position will be reviewed annually based on performance and funding. One (1) year of relevant experience in program or project coordination. Additional Qualifications Considered
Experience or demonstrated interest in program planning and administration. Prior experience working with families and young children. Knowledge of desktop computing and Microsoft Office suite products. Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with colleagues, especially those of differing backgrounds. Has general awareness in research techniques or methods, regulatory policies and procedures, and relevant scientific field. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle and/or access to reliable transportation to conduct required field work. Prior experience with project management. Experience managing a multi-year federally-funded grant. Experience with REDCap. Knowledgeable of research practices, including experience with human subjects projects and collection of biospecimens and storage of biospecimens in an enclosed laboratory with biosafety level regulations. Experience in the field of early childhood research. Experience working with families and children from diverse backgrounds. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge and skills developed through work experience or training in early childhood development or related discipline. Application Process Information
