SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Technical Lead Architect to drive the technical implementation of data solutions while ensuring adherence to architectural best practices. This role emphasizes hands-on technical execution, mentoring, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality data solutions. This role also requires deep expertise in data management, cloud platforms, and data governance, ensuring scalable, secured and high-performance data solutions. The ideal candidate will lead technical teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and establish intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision making ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned. Lead the design and implementation of data solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to architectural best practices. Provide hands-on technical execution, including coding, testing, and deployment of data solutions. Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of data solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data strategies, architectures, and roadmaps. Mentor data engineers and architects, fostering technical excellence. Ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, efficient and maintainable. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating them into data solutions as appropriate. Evaluate and recommend data technologies, tools, and platforms, including cloud-based solutions. Drive adoption of modern data architecture patterns (e.g., data lakes, lake house, data mesh, data fabric) Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, ensuring security and regulatory requirements. Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.). Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training. Identifies and reports suspicious activity. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises function, projects or services and/or one or more employees, as applicable. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance coaching; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. EDUCATION Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field EXPERIENCE Proven experience as a Data Architect, Technical Lead, or similar role Strong expertise in data modeling, database design, and data integration Experience with cloud platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies (eg, Hadoop, Spark) Experience with data governance and data quality management preferred CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Certification in cloud platforms or data-related technologies. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and Java. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques.
