Seattle - 2L Summer Associate for 2026 (#947)

Dorsey's Seattle corporate group is seeking a 2L student who is interested in working in our Corporate group who has strong interpersonal skills; ambition; and diverse perspectives, experiences and interests for the 2026 summer associate program. The ideal candidate will be interested in a mix of corporate work including securities law, mergers & acquisition and general corporate work.

During the summer program, you will:

- Work on challenging client matters, acquiring substantive work opportunities, primarily from the Corporate department, working closely with attorneys practicing in that area;

- Hone your legal writing skills;

- Have the opportunity to represent pro bono clients;

- Receive feedback and mentoring;

- Participate in numerous seminars and training events hosted by Dorsey U, our in-house professional development group; and

- Establish meaningful relationships with your summer associate colleagues and Dorsey attorneys through professional opportunities, networking, and a variety of social events.

We prefer students with a record of strong academic achievement and law review, journal, or work experience.

The pay for this position in is $3,940 per week in Washington. This temporary position is not benefits eligible.
