The Property Office at Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is looking to hire a detailed and proactive student to assist with shipping and receiving functions of the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists with shipping and receiving-this includes the functions of shipping and receiving, material handling and packaging, inventory management, and record keeping
- Processes, delivers, and picks up incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintains mail distribution boxes throughout SDL's campus
- Data entry
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a USU student
- Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week during semesters and up to 40 hours per week during summer
- Must have a strong work ethic, dedication, and sense of ownership in their job, and be self-directed/motivated
- Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other productivity tools
- Must possess a valid US driver's license
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely
