Opportunity for full-time conversion Responsible for managing a territory in Northeast NC Occasional travel to Charlotte for equipment/parts pick-up and drop-off Initial training in Charlotte required for up to 2 weeks. Client will cover travel expenses; however, personal transportation is required PPE provided: steel-toe boots, safety vest, safety glasses, and hard hat Virtual interviews Preference given to candidates with wastewater experience POSITION SUMMARY: Executes filed service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Creates and maintains safe working environment and cultures within the organization. Takes care of company property. Trouble shoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditions. Identify and remedy safety issues both Company and Customer owned equipment. Direct interfacing with customer. Potentially at multiple sites with multiple technologies. Organization Impact: First line of technical service support. Customer facing. High utilization. Accountable to customer for operation and repair of the system. Will be operating boom truck - site is willing to train POSITION REQUIREMENTS- FORMAL EDUCATION: HS diploma or equivalent. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE: Ability to obtain TWIC card. Technical experience. Experience with Microsoft office including smart devises. Must have customer service experience. Demonstrates critical thinking and trouble shooting ability. Ability to obtain a have DOT medical card DRIVING REQUIREMENTS: Able to operate a company vehicle. Able to pass driver requirements which include: Driver Application for Employment. Driver Disclosure and Release. Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement. FMCSA Certificate of Awareness. Driver Certificate of Violations. Driver Statement of On Duty Hours. Road Test. Copy of Drivers License (Front and Back). Copy of Medical Certificate. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis. Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Must be able to climb and descend stairs. Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees. May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required. May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt. Work surfaces may include concrete. Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone. 3-5 years experience |
