Procurement Job Description
This position will identify, record, tag, and inventory all capital equipment assets for the University of Missouri System, including University of Missouri - Columbia, University of Missouri - Kansas City, University of Missouri - St. Louis, and Missouri University of Science and Technology. Position duties and responsibilities include: run asset reports weekly for all system business units, research and determine what qualifies as a capital asset, identify responsible officers for each asset, including department and permanent location, enter new asset information into asset management system, apply physical tag on each newly acquired asset, ensure annual capital asset inventories are conducted by responsible officers, and update information accordingly in the asset management system, review equipment in process status for each business unit monthly, ensure capital assets are properly disposed through the University Surplus Asset program. Position may require daytime travel periodically to the campuses for tagging of equipment. Shift
Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm, or 7:30 am - 4:30pm or 8am - 5pm Minimum Qualifications
An Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Outlook, Excel, great attention to detail, organized, ability to multi-task, ability to think critically and problem solve, ability to do light moving of equipment to tag assets Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour Benefit Eligibility
