Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Broken Arrow, OK. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The Manufacturing Material Supervisor oversees the material handling and inventory management processes within the manufacturing facility.
  • This role ensures that materials are efficiently received, stored, and distributed to support production schedules and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials to ensure timely and accurate delivery to production lines.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement inventory control procedures to minimize waste and ensure accuracy.
  • Manage a team of material handlers, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors to ensure materials are available as needed and address any material-related issues that may impact production schedules.
  • Ensure all material handling activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of material transactions and prepare regular reports on inventory status, material usage, and other relevant metrics.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $47.50 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week. (1st shift).

Length: Contract (12 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in material handling and inventory management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory management software, material handling equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on the floor, knowing their supervisor's position.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.
