This position will involve at least 3 days a week in person work at the Henry Ford Health corporate office in Detroit, MI as well as involvement in community focused initiatives. GENERAL SUMMARY: Guided by a Director or Vice-President within the Office of Community Health, Equity and Wellness (CHEW), the project manager's role encompasses management of departmental and/or enterprise-wide initiatives and strategies that fall under CHEW. These initiatives may cover areas such as social determinants of health, prevention and wellness, among others. Working under minimal supervision and able to effectively liaise with all levels of leadership, the project manager will bring to bear principles and practices rooted in community and public health to drive high-quality and impactful programs and interventions, aligning them with clinical frameworks, engaging in community partnerships, and adhering to the strategic imperatives of Henry Ford As part of a collaborative approach with various departments or service lines, along with community and private stakeholders, the project manager will act as a consultant in the creation and execution of tangible enhancements in the health and well-being of patients, staff, and local populations through diverse tactics, strategic plans, and key performance metrics. Central to their duties will be the execution and control of specific departmental and/or wide-ranging enterprise projects and strategies throughout the areas governed by CHEW. Among these responsibilities are roles within the Center for Health Promotion & Disease Prevention, Institute on Multicultural Health, Community Health Needs Assessment, Community Benefit Reporting, Diabetes Prevention Program, Worksite Wellness, Tobacco Treatment, Trauma & Resiliency Community and Health Organizations (TRICHO), Fresh Rx, among many others. Additionally, the position calls for expertise in constructing, coordinating, and executing health programs, with a particular emphasis on public/community health, other tailored population-focused frameworks.
