Production Program Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Production Program Manager to oversee andcoordinate the execution of manufacturing programs from planning to delivery. This rolerequires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and quality compliance fordefense avionics products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead production programs, ensuring adherence to cost, schedule, andperformance requirements.
• Serve as the primary customer point of contact for program execution,addressing issues, schedule updates, and contract deliverables.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams todrive efficient production and resolve issues.
• Monitor program risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure project success.
• Manage program budgets, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generatereports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with defense and aerospace industry regulations, includingITAR, AS9100, and MIL-STD requirements.
• Work closely with business development and contracts teams to supportproposals, pricing, and negotiations for follow-on production contracts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency andcost-effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in program management within a defense or aerospacemanufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, supply chain management, andquality assurance in the defense sector.
• Experience managing customer relationships, contracts, and regulatorycompliance.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in program management tools such as MS Project, ERP/MRPsystems, and risk management methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification

Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

Knowledge of ruggedized electronics, circuit board manufacturing, or avionicsintegration.
