Familiarity with cloud platforms and automation tools (e.g., PCF) is a plus. *Description* Key Roles and Responsibilities: Provides support and input on designs of the 5G production network. Develops, documents, and analyzes overall 5G and NextGen Core architecture of systems, including application and software. Determines integrated architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs. Coordinates design and integration of total system including subsystems. Researches and recommends technology to improve the current systems. *Network Design & Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy network solutions for telecommunications services. *Performance Optimization: Perform regular network assessments, identifying opportunities for improvements in speed, scalability, and security. *Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate network diagrams, documentation, and reports for network performance, outages, and changes. Ensure network changes are properly documented and communicated. *Collaboration: Work closely with various Engineers and other internal support teams to ensure optimal network performance. *Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues. Assist with troubleshooting for both internal and external stakeholders. Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime. *Compliance & Standards: Adhere to industry best practices and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with telecommunications standards and protocols. *Skills* application engineering, IP Networking & Security, Linux/unix OS, cloud platforms, automation tools, subnetting, microsoft office suite *Additional Skills & Qualifications* *Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field. *Minimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering within the telecommunications industry. *Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Wireshark, etc.). *Familiarity with cloud technologies and SDN (Software-Defined Networking) is a plus. *Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper JNCIA, or CompTIA Network+ preferred. Skills: *Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues. *Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and documentation. *Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. *Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy in network design and implementation. *Proactive and adaptable to evolving technologies in the telecommunications industry. *Proficiency interacting with Unix-like operating systems, particularly Linux. *MS Office Suite, with a strong use of Excel. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
