Verizon is seeking an Digital Experience Associate Director to lead the strategy and management of our corporate website. This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing a team and driving digital initiatives to enhance Verizon's brand reputation and user engagement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in digital platform management and a deep understanding of current digital trends and technologies.

What you'll be doing:
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with Verizon's business objectives.

  • Creating and implementing a content strategy that effectively delivers key messaging and supports the company's growth narrative.

  • Collaborating with brand and agency partners to ensure consistency in design, user experience, and messaging.

  • Continuously improving the website's user experience and optimize content for organic traffic.

  • Leading and mentororing a team of digital professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.

  • Overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of digital platforms, ensuring they are user-friendly, scalable, and secure.

  • Monitoring and analyzing platform performance using KPIs and analytics tools, implementing improvements to enhance user engagement.

  • Working closely with IT, Communications, HR, Finance, and Legal/Regulatory teams to align digital initiatives with overall business goals.

What we're looking for: You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience in digital platform management, with a track record of success in senior digital roles.

  • Experience with UX and UI design principles.

  • Experience with digital platform development tools and technologies (e.g., CMS, CRM, analytics platforms).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Media/Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • An advanced degree in a related field.

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CDMP, PMP, CSM)

  • Experience with large corporations.

  • Deep understanding of digital platform development, management, and optimization.

  • Experience with cloud computing, mobile development, and web technologies.

  • Proven leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $142,000.00 and $247,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
