How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? This position is part of the Air Liquide Advanced Materials Business Unit which focuses on highly specialized molecules that support the electronics industry. Within a growing business, you will be enabled to significantly add value to a diverse portfolio of products and assist in new product commercialization efforts from a quality perspective.

The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $100,000- $125,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Air Liquide considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

In a fast paced environment, this individual is the subject matter expert responsible for leading the analysis of process and laboratory information to identify and execute continuous improvement projects with data driven results.

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of advanced approaches to data analysis.

  • Support the development and implementation of effective Process Control Systems such as Measurement Capability Analysis, SPC monitoring methodology, and Response Flow Check Lists.

  • Lead FMEA's and offer recommendations to identify and eliminate quality related problems related to new, existing or changing process prior to occurrences.

  • Prepares, analyzes, solicits input and offers recommendations in anticipation of customer related concerns prior to presenting customer facing documentation related to product quality.

  • Drive Supplier development and lead collaborative six sigma projects to achieve team/plant goals.

  • Build consensus and alignment around control limit changes, specifications and quality review meetings and utilize statistical analysis to support/oppose proposed changes.

  • Shares responsibility and actively works to ensure the appropriate corrective and preventative actions are implemented to eliminate quality and customer complaints within their assigned region.

  • Shares best practices across the business to drive global consistency

  • Recognizes team members who demonstrate exemplary behavior

  • Highly motivated and actively participates to identify unsafe processes/practices with the objective to eliminate injuries.

  • Meet or exceed all company safety procedures and standards with the understanding that all injuries are preventable through appropriate risk reduction.

  • Successfully completes all assigned trainings

  • Ability to effectively and proficiently communicate both verbally and written in English

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred)

  • 3+ years of experience in a Quality associated field.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work and effectively lead a collaborative team environment, and proactively seeks to understand differences among team members opinions to resolve differences and leverage for a competitive advantage.

  • Must be an expert in statistical data analysis, Quality Assurance fundamentals including FMEA, problem solving techniques, and Six Sigma methodology.

  • Demonstrated success in processing 8D's.

  • Six sigma green belt certification or higher preferred

  • Behavioral Competencies: team leadership, analytical thinking and problem solving, listens and communicates ideas, and demonstrated ability to achieve sustained team goals.
