The 2025 Chicago Headquarters internship program will focus on Construction Equipment Products and Solutions. Our products and solutions help construct new cities, plan for urban growth, and create a sustainable world.

We're working on exciting technologies like self-driving machines, electric equipment, and remote-control systems to make construction more efficient and environmentally friendly. Also, through our continuing pursuit of reduction of greenhouse gases and waste generated by manufacturing sites and the lessening of the burden on the environment, Komatsu innovation will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

Key Job Responsibilities

Komatsu is embarking on a global initiative to transform our website experiences, and we are looking for an Intern Content Author (AEM/DAM) to support this effort. In this role, you will assist in migrating and managing digital assets, creating and updating web pages, and ensuring content is properly organized within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content management and digital transformation while working alongside regional digital marketing teams and IT professionals.

As an Intern Content Author (AEM/DAM), you will support Komatsu's global website transformation by managing digital assets, assisting with content migration, and ensuring consistency across websites. You will work closely with regional teams to upload and organize assets in AEM, create and update pages, and manage product data in the PIM system. This role offers hands-on experience with AEM, DAM, and content management in a global enterprise setting




  • Assist in importing and tagging digital assets in AEM for various regions.
  • Create and update web pages in AEM to ensure consistency across global sites.
  • Author pages using AEM components, Content Fragments and Experience Fragments
  • Upload and manage product data, including loading machines into the PIM system.
  • Work with spreadsheets to organize and validate content data.
  • Ensure assets and pages are correctly structured, named, and tagged for easy retrieval.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and digital teams, to maintain content accuracy.
  • Import, tag, and organize digital assets in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM/DAM).
  • Assist in migrating website content from legacy CMS platforms to AEM.
  • Create and update web pages to ensure a consistent user experience.
  • Load and manage product data in the Product Information Management (PIM) system.
  • Work with spreadsheets to organize and validate content data.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing, IT, and vendor teams to support content updates.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Junior/Senior standing, or recently completed a bachelor's degree in information technology, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in digital content management, website development, and asset organization.
  • Basic familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites and DAM (hands-on experience is a plus).
  • Experience working with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) for data organization.
  • Understanding metadata, taxonomy, and asset tagging is a plus.
  • Exposure to website content creation and structuring
  • Familiarity with Java, HTML, CSS/JS and UX best practices is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Additional Information

Hourly Pay: $21/hr
