Lantheus is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who wants to join a growth company with life science pharmaceutical company experience, whose key role and responsibilities will be working closely with cross-functional partners at the newly acquired Evergreen Theragnostics entity in Springfield, NJ as the Finance leader. This individual will work to complete recurring accounting processes, month and quarter end closes, financial reporting, forecasting and financial decision support to our various stakeholders and the parent entity. This role reports into the Corporate Finance team and directly manages at least one report.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Acts as the liaison and Financial Business Partner to the local Evergreen team and serve as site contact with ownership of all finance and accounting processes
- Provides accurate and timely processing of month end, quarter end and year-end financial close requirements, including balance sheet, P&L, cash flows and footnote disclosures.
- Review accruals and prepare journal entries as needed; provide oversight on the AR/AP process, including payment runs; and maintain close collaboration with accounting team on month end close activities
- Proficient in technical accounting including ASC 606 to review contracts and ensure adherence to US GAAP with revenue recognition and cost of goods sold
- Review new and existing customer contracts for operational milestones and financial and accounting implications for forecasting and operational metrics; proactively manage and monitor the status of milestone revenues; meet with project managers to determine monthly invoices/billing
- Collect and prepare comprehensive, accurate and timely financial analyses on actuals and KPIs, as well as comparisons against forecasts; management of the annual budget, including monthly trend reporting, quarterly financial forecasts and effectively analyzing drivers behind monthly variances to budget/forecast
- Design, implement, and monitor internal controls over financial reporting. Partner with auditors (internal and external) to support audit readiness and remediation of findings
- Communicate with business development and cross functional operational teams to develop and maintain customer level revenue forecasts and tracking
- Prepare presentation materials and scenario analysis for management, with emphasis on financial impacts. Provide actionable insight on performance against business unit KPI's
- Support Finance & Accounting team's facilitation of cross-functional implementation of new or improved processes/systems for all related financial systems critical to core organizational functions
- Manage multiple projects, reports and competing priorities simultaneously. Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as required
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with various levels of personnel
- Challenge processes and the status quo to drive improvements
This position is site-centric, with an expectation of working out of the Company's Springfield, NJ office three days per week and as otherwise necessary.
Job Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA and/or CPA certification preferred, not required.
- Minimum years of experience: 5+
- Wiliness to work flexible hours to meet finance deadlines as needed.
- Periodic travel to Massachusetts headquarters as needed
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to provide meaningful analysis
- Professional consulting, corporate finance or accounting experience required.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience/knowledge preferred
- Demonstrate strong business acumen.
- Must have excellent verbal communication, presentation and organizational skills.
- Technical expertise in finance, budgeting, and forecasting. Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow) and reporting.

- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
