Role Description & Responsibilities:

The 3DEXPERIENCE Lab is the global innovation lab and startup accelerator program of Dassault Systemes (DS). This high-visibility program works with a select number of innovative startups each year, focusing on sustainability and leveraging the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The lab provides resources and support to help these startups develop and bring their ideas to life.

The Marketing and Outreach Specialist ( 3DEXPERIENCE Lab North America Specialist) will play a crucial role in expanding the reach and impact of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, based in our Waltham, MA office location, and is a Hybrid role.

You will be responsible for the planning and execution of marketing and outreach activities aimed at attracting promising startups to the program and promoting the lab's initiatives. This role requires a proactive and engaging individual with a strong marketing background and an understanding of the startup ecosystem. This position involves approximately 10-15% travel for events and related activities.



  • Ability to discover startups that are committed to solving tough technical challenges for a better, sustainable world.
  • Sound familiarity with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and should be a firm believer in the sustainable future of the planet.
  • Strong business orientation with prior experience in working with/ handling startups, especially in the context of North America.
  • A knack for driving high-level partnerships with different stakeholders of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab - accelerators, incubators, educational partners, fab labs, and more.
  • A vision to expand the influence of 3DEXPERIENCE Lab within the local ecosystem (North America) and onboard new partner accelerators, incubators, and research partners.
  • Develop and execute marketing and outreach strategies to increase awareness of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab and its benefits for startups.
  • Manage the outreach marketing side of the program, including content creation and dissemination.
  • Attending industry events, such as 3DEXPERIENCE World and CES, to network with startups and generate leads.
  • Write compelling content about the activities and successes of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab and its portfolio companies.
  • Assist in managing relationships with partner organizations, including accelerators and incubators.
  • Support the process of engaging and recruiting new startup companies to the program.
  • Potentially provide tours of the lab facilities and communicate the lab's vision.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical lead and other team members to ensure cohesive program delivery.
  • Promote open innovation offer and act as an evangelist: animate the ecosystem of actors (start up, R&D etc), products and content producers to stimulate collaborative open innovation models and the co-creation and development of new products and services.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field - or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, or a related role.
  • Experience creating content for technical audiences, including technical writing.
  • A solid understanding of the startup mindset and challenges faced by early-stage companies
  • Familiarity with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and a passion for sustainability
  • Experience working with or within startups, accelerators, or incubators.
  • Background in partnership development or management is a plus.
  • Some experience in sales or business development, particularly in outreach to new organizations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10-15%, or as needed.


Preferred Skills:



  • Prior familiarity with 3DEXPERIENCE Platform is essential. Expert-level knowledge of collaborative tools on the platform
  • General scientific literacy to engage with and understand the work of a lab startup
  • A proven track record of working with accelerators and/or incubators is a plus.
  • A successful track record of handling or working accelerators/ incubator
  • Ability to seek innovation and improve current practices


"Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $ 114,300 and $140,000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus"
