In this role, you will apply your expertise in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) to identify and address local organizational needs, ensuring a safe workplace for all. You will work under the guidance of our local EHS Manager or senior operations management, taking personal responsibility for your outputs while knowing when to escalate issues appropriately. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing technical work related to regulatory requirements, participating in assessments and audits, and ensuring compliance with EHS standards. You will monitor and maintain site-specific procedures, develop your skills in EHS regulatory requirements, and track critical audits, permits, and associated activities. Providing data for performance reports and generating timely reports for management will also be key aspects of your role. As an essential team member, you will engage in root cause analysis, monitor corrective actions on significant incidents, and maintain OSHA 300 Logs. Your role will involve collecting, evaluating, and disseminating vital EHS information while collaborating with internal and cross-functional partners. You will support and implement training programs to enhance EHS compliance and incident prevention, and participate in Management of Change reviews and Pre-Start Safety Reviews. Additionally, you will maintain Safety Data Sheets and hazardous material inventories, conduct site inspections of contractor activities, and participate in programs necessary for third-party certifications. Fundamental environmental and industrial hygiene monitoring will be part of your tasks, as directed by the EHS Manager or specialists.
