Position Title: Deposit Operations - Seasonal Associate Business Unit: Deposit Operations Reports To: Supervisor of Deposit Operations Position Overview: This position is primarily responsible for supporting the deposit operations function with a specific focus on Port Mergers and TAS (Transaction Account System) Checks. Key responsibilities include coordinating work within the unit or department, validating and verifying data through merger processes, reviewing TAS Checks, and ensuring the accuracy of migrated and updated data. The role also supports general deposit operations duties and provides guidance and assistance to peers and leadership on tasks related to these specialty areas. Primary Responsibilities:
- Leads and supports Port Merger activities, including verifying account data integrity before and after bank mergers, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating issue resolution.
- Processes and verifies TAS Checks, ensuring all transaction accounts meet internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborates with internal teams during system conversions or mergers to ensure accurate data mapping and seamless customer experience.
- Responds to inquiries specifically related to Port Mergers and TAS Checks from branches and internal departments.
- Performs general processing tasks such as non-posts, stop payments, return items, NSF monitoring, and other back-office functions as assigned.
- Provides customer service and support with a high degree of professionalism, particularly during merger-related projects and TAS Check escalations.
- Conducts detailed system edits and account maintenance, especially in the context of merger transition and TAS-related updates.
- Supports end-of-year reporting and reconciliation duties, including any required corrections that involve Port Merger data.
- Assists the supervisor with reporting, audits, and documentation specific to merger activities and TAS processing.
- Serves as a knowledge resource for other Deposit Operations Representatives regarding Port Mergers and TAS-related processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned and contributes to departmental flexibility by adapting to various workflow needs.
The Seasonal Associate will work from May to August. Actual hours worked and employment period will be determined by the needs of the business. F.N.B. - Strong attention to detail, particularly with data validation and cross-system reconciliation
- Excellent communication skills for cross-department collaboration and documentation
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data tracking tools
- Ability to manage time effectively during project deadlines (e.g., mergers or audits)
- Familiarity with deposit systems, core banking platforms, or TAS functionality is a plus
