DevOps Engineer- Dockers, Terraform, Dockers, Containers, GITHUB, Jenkins & Kubernetes

Location: Johnston, Rhode Island

We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Terraform, Dockers & Containers, GITHUB, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain infrastructure solutions using Amazon Kubernetes Services, OpenShift, Experience in GIT, GitHub, CI, CD,Jenkins,Dockers,Kubernetes,Terraform,Shell scripting, Groovy scripting Experience in any cloud technologies like AWS/AZURE

Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of infrastructure systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions.

Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues to ensure minimal downtime.

Automate deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Provide technical guidance and support to team members on infrastructure related tasks.

Implement security best practices to protect infrastructure and data.

Conduct regular performance tuning and optimization of infrastructure systems.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the infrastructure remains cutting-edge.

Document infrastructure configurations and procedures for future reference.

Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.

Work closely with the development team to integrate infrastructure solutions seamlessly.

Contribute to the overall success of the company by ensuring robust and reliable infrastructure.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $49,001 - $123,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
