Job Description

The Product Associate will play a part in driving innovation on payment authentication by supporting the Visa Payment Passkey product as a member of Visa's Authentication, Identity, and Tap Global Product team. Leveraging a unique blend of technologies (e.g., FIDO, EMV 3DS, tokenization) with an emphasis on consumer experience, Visa Payment Passkey strives to deliver a best-in-class solution. The New Products group leading Visa Payment Passkey within the Authentication, Identity, and Tap Global Product team is responsible for product development, product delivery, and go-to-market in support of our regional stakeholders, aligned with team & company objectives.

The Product Associate will be responsible for the delivery of products and features in collaboration with the broader global product team. This position will work closely with various teams across Visa to successfully identify, define, and deliver secure, valuable authentication solutions and scale our business in new ways. This position will translate business needs and technology assets into product requirements for emerging solutions that deliver new capabilities. The primary responsibility will be authoring requirements and executing on delivery of those requirements based on overall team and company objectives. The Product Associate will take input from product leaders, regional stakeholders, and prospective clients to help inform the product strategy and build solutions that are fit for purpose.

Essential Functions

  • Drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for your product discipline and accountable projects

  • Work with regional teams and clients to gather product feedback that will inform roadmap, prioritization, and product vision and strategy

  • Write product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

  • Work cross-functionally across Authentication and Identity to ensure solutions are appropriately built and operationalized

  • Work with governance and sourcing groups to vet new solutions or features and gain necessary approvals for launch

  • Liaise with other business units, product managers, engineering and other applicable groups to ensure flawless execution

  • Provide ongoing communication of project status, action plan and recommendations to stakeholders including senior leadership on an ongoing basis

  • Develop concise product materials to document the product features to educate stakeholders (e.g., Product Guides, Integration Guides, Release Notes)

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, Business orrelated field, or at least 2 years of work experience with an advanced degree(e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Team oriented, collaborative, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills,including strong oral and writing capabilities.
  • Organized, with a natural inclination for both strategic and tactical planning andturn strategy into tangible deliverables.
  • Possess a unique combination of product expertise, problem-solving ability,attention to detail, and comfortable with rapid changes.
  • Fluency in PowerPoint, Excel and JIRA/JIRA Align Experience.
  • Experience leading initiatives and acting as product owner in an agileenvironment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence successfully within a highlymatrixed organization
  • Subject matter expertise in payments and/or ecommerce processing, withrelevant experience in product and feature delivery.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in identity and access management, including variedauthentication protocols (OAuth, OpenID, FIDO2, etc.)
  • Detail oriented and highly execution focused by working in conjunction withvarious counterparts across multiple functional groups.
  • Ability to structure, manage, and coordinate complex workstreams and processes with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and aptitude to think creatively to identifynew ways to innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangiblebusiness results.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 84,600.00 to 119,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
