Job Title: Dentist Location: Columbia SC 29212 Duration: 01 Year to Long Term Shift timing: 08:30AM to 04:30PM (3 Days/week and hours are negotiable, flexibility on the days and some flexibility on the times) Role & Responsibilities: Examine and Diagnose using x-rays including Panorex, Bitewing, Peri-apical films. Place composite fillings. Provide local anesthesia. Place sealants. Provide dental prophylaxis, exam, fluoride. Possible calculus debridement when necessary. Crowns-PFM or gold (we utilize a dental lab for fabrication of crowns). Create, review, and update dental policies/procedures. Serve as Dental Director. Third molar extractions, root canals, and existing orthodontics are referred out. Fully equipped dental clinic with newly acquired equipment necessary to perform dental procedures. License and Certification: DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school. South Carolina dental license.
