The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is the nonprofit, applied research organization of the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). Founded in 1934 as the Engineering Experiment Station, GTRI has grown to more than 2,900 employees supporting eight laboratories in over 20 locations around the country. In FY2023 GTRI had over $941M of problem-solving research awards for government and industry.

Each day, GTRI's science and engineering expertise is used to turn ideas into workable solutions for our customers. We take the best ideas, often co-developed with our Georgia Tech academic partners, and turn them into systems applications that provide a significant technological advantage over other approaches.

Perform and lead the planning and development of strategies and engagements that target Institute and unit-level challenges and priorities. Act as an engagement leader for Institute wide program design, organizational/cultural change efforts, and junior level consultants. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a regular basis with: Institute and unit management, faculty and staff. Job Duty 1 -
Collaborate with stakeholders and senior-level clients to identify, define, and create solutions for Institute and unit challenges

Job Duty 2 -
Manage the implementation of business initiatives, program design, and organizational & cultural changes and lead associated project teams

Job Duty 3 -
Coordinate and manage the implementation of projects, surveys, programs, and other change initiatives for the Institute and/or assigned units

Job Duty 4 -
Gather and synthesize data from various sources in order to identify potential and existing Institute and unit-level challenges

Job Duty 5 -
Analyze data to facilitate the development of recommendations to address/resolve potential and existing Institute and unit-level challenges

Job Duty 6 -
Develop implementation, change management, and communication plans in support of recommendations provided for Institute and/or unit challenges and priorities

Job Duty 7 -
Design and track business and change impact analyses for continued assessment of initiatives and programs

Job Duty 8 -
Develop and deliver reports and proposals for stakeholders and senior management

Job Duty 9 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Organizational Development or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Other Required Qualifications
Overnight travel requred for project delivery; flexibility in on-site daily service delivery hours Degree in in Business Management, Organizational Development or related (due to client shift schedules, project requrements).

Required Experience
Five to seven years of job related experience

1. Master's Degree in Business Management, Organizational Development or related field.
2. Experience in strategy development, strategy consulting, or similar activities.
3. PMP or similar certifications.
4. Demonstrated leadership capabilities for both projects/processes and teams.
5. Advanced qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
6. Proven stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
7. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.

SKILLS
Ability to work within a matrix organization structure, build consensus and lead project teams
