Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance inspections, repairs, and rebuilds on all plant operating equipment. This role is crucial for achieving plant efficiency and equipment availability by minimizing unplanned stops and extended downtimes. The technician will participate in training and certification programs to stay updated with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance:

• Conduct inspections, repairs, and rebuilds on plant equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and routine replacements.
• Use manuals and blueprints for accurate installations and repairs.

Miscellaneous:

• Manage inventory parts and ensure availability before starting jobs.
• Operate heavy equipment and perform tasks efficiently.
• Adapt to additional duties as assigned.

Safety:

• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete and document workplace inspections.
• Keep maintenance tools in good condition.

Training:

• Participate in training programs to upgrade skills.
• Train on new equipment installations.

Essential Attributes:

• Flexibility to work various shifts and handle schedule changes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in challenging environments.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.

Physical Demands:

• Capable of accessing all plant locations and performing physical tasks.
• Exposure to extreme conditions and environmental factors.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds occasionally.
