Job Description

Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) is a world-class organization responsible for growing all flows between businesses and governments, from small businesses to the largest global corporations. The Core Products and Platforms team within VCS works closely with financial institutions and fintechs to bring payment solutions that meet the needs of growth corporates, large enterprises, multinationals, governments, public sector entities, and small businesses around the world. The team is responsible for the product development and management of a comprehensive array of solutions that meet the needs of these organizations. These solutions target such important segments as Fleet and Mobility, B2B Travel and Corporate Travel, AP/AR payments, and Small Business (SMB).

The Senior Manager, Commercial Flex Credential, plays a central role in developing Visa's new Flex Credential solutions for the Large, Middle Market and Small Business segments within VCS. Visa Flex Credential facilitates a new payment experience by enabling a single flexible credential to access multiple accounts, providing cardholder choice and empowering issuers to develop new propositions.

The Senior Manager role is responsible for managing the development of Visa's Commercial Flex Credential solutions, in partnership with the Flex Credential team, building upon preliminary concepts already developed in the regions to advance the most attractive opportunities for scale. The role will define and drive the transition of what has been a decentralized product development process at the regional level to a centralized development and governance process at the global level to support efficiency, consistency, and to speed adoption and growth.

The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader with the ability to influence in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. He/she must have proven experience in building and commercializing innovative products that deliver substantial value propositions to the market. This role requires strategic leadership, innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. He/she is creative and hands-on, has a bias towards action and is able to inspire others with his/her vision.

Essential Functions

Product Development and Management:

  • Develop the foundational narrative and value propositions for VCS Flex Credential
  • Partner with the regions to identify, package and commercialize the most attractive use cases for scale
  • Establish and run a centrally-managed product development and governance structure for Commercial Flex Credential, in collaboration with the Flex credential team
  • Define the roadmap for Commercial Flex Credential solutions and oversee the planning, prioritization and execution of the roadmapin collaboration with cross-functional partners
  • Partner with VCS global and regional colleagues to define and prioritize needed product features and capabilities
  • Ensure the product development roadmap is aligned to the overall Commercial Flex Credential product strategy and is well-articulated to customers, partners, and internally within Visa
  • Establish and standardize processes to ensure a simplified sales, implementation and onboarding model to support scale, in collaboration with Flex team
  • Develop training materials and technical guides
  • Support development of sales and GTM documentation
  • Educate and empower regional teams to drive client adoption and market penetration
  • Serve as subject matter expert for the portfolio of Commercial Flex Credential solutions, both internally and externally with Visa clients
  • Develop KPIs and monitor performance
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and enable flawless execution

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

* 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

* 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD

* MBA or Advanced Degree is highly desirable

* Deep product management experience within commercial/B2B payments

* Prior experience with Interchange or Pricing frameworks

* Experienced product leader with a record of accomplishment for creating and developing new product capabilities from initial concept to industry leadership

* Proven track record of developing and executing a product vision for successful products based on a deep understanding of customer needs

* Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new opportunities to innovate and differentiate with evidence of tangible business results

* Experience managing and developing strong partnerships across cross-functional teams within matrixed organizations to influence and create roadmaps

* Excellent ability to develop and communicate strategy, and secure internal investment for products

* Natural collaborator, with excellent communication skills and strong executive presence

* Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity, possessing the maturity and competence to influence across multiple levels and organizations including internal and external stakeholders

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 135,200.00 to 196,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
